In the workspace settings you can manage workspace's general settings like name, language, and login methods.

Updated over 5 months ago

You can find options to configure your workspace according to your needs in the workspace settings. You can access the workspace settings by navigating to the admin menu and selecting "Workspace Manager."

Basic information

In this section of the workspace settings, you can add and edit:

  • Cover picture: This is visible in the card view in the Workspaces widget, and My Workspaces view.

  • Name: This is the name of the workspace used, for example, in emails, and My Workspaces view.

  • Invoicing reference: For example project number, purchase order (PO) number, or anything else you would like to be shown in the Main user dashboard.

  • Description: The description is shown in the card view in the Workspaces widget.

  • Use cases: Select the primary use case of the workspace. This can be used to provide a better user experience.

Language, date, and time

These settings affect the default language of the user interface and the time format used in the workspace. Changing the workspace language will not affect the content that is already saved in that workspace.

If you are using the Translations feature in your workspace, each user can select the target language of their choice. Unlike the workspace language, the Translations also translate the contents of the workspace. You can read more about translations here.

Notification settings

In the notification settings, you can choose what triggers email notifications and how often they are sent. More detailed information about notification settings can be found in this article.

Login and registration

Here you can define how users can log in to the workspace. You can find more information about login methods here.

AI

Here you can choose between the classic and the new Howspace AI engine. We recommend using Azure OpenAI to access more advanced AI features. You can also define words that are excluded from all word clouds across the workspace.

Widgets

In the Widgets section, you can choose which widgets are available in the workspace. You can find a list of all the widgets here.

Features

In the Features section, you can choose which features are available in the workspace. A more detailed article about the features can be found here.

Security

Administrators have access to several security features in their workspaces. This article will present them and explain their use.

Privacy

Here you can select the user details that should be visible to all participants in the workspace. Administrators can always see all user details.
