This article describes how you can navigate in a workspace.

Updated over a week ago

Navigating Howspace workspace is easy and intuitive! The top navigation has everything you need. The top navigation has two levels: workspace level and page level.

Workspace level navigation

Workspace navigation includes page navigation, notification center, and admin and user menus.

Logo

Clicking the workspace logo takes you to the landing page of the workspace. You can define the landing page from the page menu.

The logo can not be changed in Free and Basic plans.

Pages in the top navigation menu

Your pages and folders are shown in the top menu as shown in the picture above. You can edit the order of pages and containers in Admin menu > Edit menu.

If the pages do not fit to the top navigation menu or you are using Howspace on mobile this Pages menu (above) will show up and you can navigate to pages and folders by clicking it.

Notification center ("New")

Clicking the notification center opens a side bar with:

  • List of all pages that have something new

  • Shows how many notifications on each page

Admin menu ("Admin")

  • Shortcuts to most used admin features

  • Access the Workspace Manager

User menu ("Me")

  • Visible to all users

  • User-level actions like My profile, setting up Language (translations) and access to My Workspaces.

Page level navigation

In the page-level navigation bar, you can see the current page's name and options to edit the page and open the page menu.

Edit page

Clicking "Edit page" takes you to page edit mode. In the edit mode, you can change the layout of your page by adding and editing widgets and containers.

Page menu

The page menu has page-level actions and settings. You can manage page settings and page visuals, duplicate page, set the page as landing page, access the page's trash can that holds deleted widgets for 30 days, and finally, you can delete the page.
