Content editor role

Available in Premium and Enterprise plans.

Content editor is a new role between Admin and Participant. Content editor can view and edit all workspace pages, with access to Workspace Manager limited to menu editing in the Pages view only, all other admin views out of scope.

Why it matters: In larger organisations, content upkeep can't realistically sit with one or two admins, but giving everyone full admin access isn't desirable either. The content editor role allows you to add hands for content management while keeping a tighter grip on who controls user management and workspace settings.

How to add content editor role:

  1. Open Workspace Manager -> Users

  2. Find the participant(s) you want to give the role to

  3. Tick the box on their left side

  4. From the menu that appears at the bottom, click "role" -> "content editor"

  5. Confirm by clicking "assign content editor role".

You can identify content editors by the role icon:

To remove a content editor role, simply assign the user another role (participant or admin).

What can content editors do?

  • Create, edit, and delete pages in the workspace

  • Edit page settings, including scheduling activity and limiting access to the page

  • Host Live widget calls

  • Send emails

  • Use the Shoutbox

What can content editors NOT do?

Content editors cannot:

  • Invite or delete participants

  • Change user roles,

  • ...or access anything in Workspace Manager, except for the Pages view.
