One of the biggest challenges in scalable learning is giving learners meaningful support between facilitator touchpoints. The AI Coach widget is designed to provide context-aware help directly inside the learning experience.

โThe Coach can
help learners get unstuck immediately
support progress and engagement between sessions
offer contextual guidance in a familiar chat format
work with selected workspace materials
Use cases
The AI Coach helps learners stay engaged and keep progressing through coaching and learning discussions that are grounded in either the full workspace context or specific selected content pieces, giving relevant coaching exactly when itโs needed without waiting for a facilitator.
Example use cases include:
Course assistant: the Coach is there to help participants with any questions they might have related to either course content or schedule.
Topic assistant: after reading/studying a certain topic for example in path mode, you can add the Coach to the final step and it can help make sure participants understand the topic, i.e. "Was there anything unclear in the <topic>? Do you want to know more about something?"
Topic challenger: after reading/studying a certain topic, the Coach can be there to challenge participants' knowledge. Either with open-ended questions or even a short survey/exam about the topic.
Contribution challenger: for individual participants, the Coach goes through all their comments in the workspace, gives feedback about their knowledge and asks a few open-ended questions.
Reflection buddy: based on selected materials, the Coach helps you reflect on the topic and deepen your thinking.

Define instructions for the Coach. Here, you have multiple options:
Default: the default mode helps users explore their thinking through open-ended questions, reflection, and fresh perspectives.
Knowledge Test: pre-made instructions that will result in the Coach quizzing the participant on the given topic (of widgets given as sources).
Q&A: pre-made instructions, following which participants can ask any questions they have about [AI Coach source material] and the Coach will respond based on the material.
Coaching: pre-made instructions for a coaching-like approach, where the Coach will help nudge participants to deeper understanding of the [AI Coach source material].
