AI Builder

The AI builder is available as a part of the AI Team add-on.

The Howspace AI Builder is meant to help you get started quick by saving hours of setup. The AI Builder:

  • Helps you get started — no more staring at a blank page

  • Has a simple flow: It asks about your program, audience,

    goals, and timing

  • Gives your workspace an easy-to-understand frame: It creates a clear structure with folders and pages

  • Removes the time spent staring at a blank screen: It builds the full structure for you to fill in and customize

Using the AI Builder

You can build a workspace using the AI Builder through My Howspace. You can either start by describing what you want to do or selecting one of the suggested options in the top banner. Alternatively you can click "new workspace" -> "Build with AI".

In either case, you will land in the same view:

In this chat-like view the AI will ask you more details about the program. On the right side, you can see a summary of what the AI has gathered so far, and later on you will also be able to see a preview of the workspace.

Let's say that you are preparing for a new product launch and want to build a workspace to support it. The AI Builder will suggest answer options but you can also type your own responses. In addition, you can upload materials that you want to include in the workspace.

As you move along, guided by the tool, you can see the summary on the right side change:

Note: a request might sometimes time out or fail for another reason. The tool will then present an option to try the last action again.

Once all the basic information is in place, the builder will propose a structure that you can see on the right:

As you scroll down, you can see suggestions for impact measurement, using the Impact Tracker. You can keep or exclude any and all suggestions, and you can also add your own questions.

At this point, you can also see a preview of the workspace. This is what it might look like:

Preview actions:

  • The "outline" button returns you to the previous view of the chat and workspace outline.

  • The arrows next to the "preview" icon allow you to move quickly between pages. You can also see and use the regular workspace navigation at the top.

  • The bubble at the bottom right opens the chat, where you can ask the AI for changes and see as they happen in the preview.

  • Finally, you can launch the workspace.

When you decide to launch the workspace, you are asked to confirm or edit workspace name, URL address, and description of the workspace. You can also see the Impact Tracker questions selected.

Note: you can edit workspace name, description, or Impact Tracker any time after you launch the workspace.

Once you're sure, click launch workspace, and you can start building the content and visuals.
