My Howspace is a new way to navigate between your workspaces and will replace the old "my workspaces" view. It's somewhat familiar, but also brings in new options, quality-of-life improvements and clarity.
Why should you care?
The update makes finding and creating workspaces easier and faster - so you will have more time to build and learn.
The Value:
Less friction, less frustration, more time focused on actual learning and collaboration.
One login, everything visible, no hunting for email links or bookmarks
Seamless login experience that feels modern and professional and reduces the mental overload
Never lose track of programs you're a part of
Logging in
You can access My Howspace either via the menu behind your profile icon when you're logged in to a workspace, or here: http://login.in.howspace.com/. If you go through the login page, you can use social login (Google, Microsoft or Apple account) or get an email login link.
If you verify your account with a PIN code, you can access your workspaces directly via My Howspace without having to log in separately - similar to how "one-click access" worked with the old My Workspaces view.
Navigating My Howspace
There are two separate pages in My Howspace, workspaces and templates.
Workspaces
Here, you can either create a new workspace (full workspaces require workspace creation permissions, anyone can create a draft workspace) or move to any workspace you're an admin or participant in. There are two different views you can choose: card and list.
Note: before you can create, duplicate or archive workspaces via My Howspace, you will be asked to verify your account with a PIN code sent to your email address.
This is what the card view looks like:
This is what the list view looks like:
At the top, you will find a search bar you can use to search for a specific workspace, as well as the option to view active or archived workspaces:
Note: while "my workspaces" grouped workspaces per Howspace account/customership, My Howspace shows all workspaces together. You can see the name of the account the workspace belongs to on top of the name of the workspace.
Templates
Note: before you can create, duplicate or archive templates via My Howspace, you will be asked to verify your account with a PIN code sent to your email address.
The other page in My Howspace is templates. This shows all the workspace and page templates that are visible to you. Again, you can choose between card and list view.
This is what the list view looks like:
Here, you can again see a search bar, and below it are filters you can use to narrow the view. Filter options include:
Workspace or page templates
Visibility: personal or public templates, or ones visible to the organisation
Tags: you can choose one or more tag to filter by
Use case: you can choose by the use case of the specific page or workspace
Language: you can filter by the language of the template
With any given template, you can:
View details (description, tags, use cases, language, creators)
Use the template (in the case of workspace templates requires workspace creation rights)
Duplicate the template (in the case of workspace templates requires workspace creation rights)
And if you're one of the creators/an admin of the template, you can also edit it.
Global profile
Finally, behind your profile icon in the top right corner of My Howspace, you can find your global profile information. Any changes you make here will be reflected in workspaces you will participate in later on.
Here, you can change:
Your name,
Profile image,
Language (if translations are on in a workspace, it will automatically translate to the language you selected here), and
Date and time format.
