Pinning 2.0

Pinning 2.0 is an update to our existing pinning feature

Updated over a year ago

Available both in Image and PDF widget

  • As before, these new cool features are available in both widgets

Making it easier to select a PIN

  • When the admin turns on Pinning, it will be turned on for all the users automatically. Previously users had to activate it before they could add a pin, and admins had to give instructions on how to do it. Now it is more seamless.

Selecting the PIN size

  • Now you can select the PIN size (S, M, L)

  • When to use them: when you have a bigger group: use the smaller PINs

  • When most of the participants are using mobile phones: use the smaller PINs

Using emojis

  • Ask participants to show their emotion about the topics on an image

  • Remember to add the possibility to add more than one PIN whenever needed

Using several options: several PIN colors and explanation texts

  • Besides having one type of PIN, you can now add several options with colors and write an explanation of the colors

  • When images or initials are in use, the color will be shown around the image

  • This can be used for prioritization or other categorization purposes

Possibility to toggle on and off the option/pins with different colors

  • The legends of the options are presented on top of the image/slide

  • By clicking them, all users can toggle them (affecting just locally)

  • If the admin wants to make that effect for the users, that is explained next.

Possibility to select which colors/explanations are available for users

  • The admin can add multiple colors, but they don't have to be available immediately if they want to start with one or only part of the options by selecting from the checkbox which ones are available.

Show all PINs

  • When you select “Only their own pins” or “Others' pins only after pinning” admin users can see all the without answering themselves.

  • The feature is available in ….-menu for admins.

Filtering

The same filtering feature that we have in several widgets is now available in Pinning too. You can filter based on user lists, profile fields, etc. You can even filter based on users if anonymity is not selected.
