Overview
Every training in the Hub has a specific status that determines its visibility and accessibility for both participants and administrators. Utilizing these statuses helps admins manage the lifecycle of a training, from initial creation and active enrollment to post-event cleanup.
There are four available statuses for a training: Public, Draft, Unlisted, and Archived.
The four training statuses
1. Public (Default)
This is the standard status for any active training. A public training is visible and accessible normally on the Hub's front page and in search results. Note that a Public training's exact visibility is still strictly governed by the criteria defined in the training's settings. If specified, users will only see it if they have the required role or belong to the required group.
2. Draft.
The Draft status is intended for trainings that are still being built or finalized.
Visibility: A Draft is completely hidden from the participant-facing front page.
Access: It is only visible in the Admin view, and can only be accessed by users who have the administrative rights to manage that specific training.
3. Unlisted
An Unlisted training is active but hidden from public discovery.
Visibility: It will not appear on the Hub's front page or in any search results, regardless of a user's role or group.
Access: It can only be accessed by users who have been given the direct URL. This is particularly useful for private events, exclusive pilot programs, or testing a training before making it Public.
4. Archived
The Archived status is meant for trainings that have already taken place and are fully in the past.
Visibility: Archiving a training removes it from the main active lists in the Admin view.
Purpose: This helps administrators keep their management dashboard clean, manageable, and focused strictly on relevant and upcoming content.
