Overview
When customizing the hub's front page, admins can choose the content that appear to participants. The content can be filtered based on a user’s role, group, or completed qualifications.
With so many possible combinations, it can be difficult to be absolutely sure that the front page looks correct for every type of user. The preview as a user solves this by allowing admins to simulate the front page experience for any combination of these three criteria, without needing to create dummy test accounts.
Where to access Preview mode
Go to the Hub admin view → settings → customize home page → preview and in the preview mode click the preview as a user tab.
How to use the preview settings
Once in preview mode, with 'preview as a user' enabled, the option to choose role, group and qualification will appear allowing you to add, remove, and combine the three visibility attributes however you wish. The page will immediately re-render to show exactly what a user with those attributes would see.
