Navigating Howspace

This article describes how you can navigate in a workspace.

Navigating Howspace workspace is easy and intuitive! The top navigation has everything you need. The top navigation has two levels: workspace level and page level.


Workspace level navigation

Workspace navigation includes page navigation, the notification center, workspace actions, and the profile and account menus.

Logo

Clicking the workspace logo takes you to the workspace's landing page. You can define the landing page from the page actions menu.

The logo cannot be changed on Free and Basic plans.


Pages in the top navigation menu

Your pages and folders are shown in the top menu as shown in the picture above. You can edit the order of pages and containers in Workspace actions > Edit menu.


โ€‹If the pages do not fit to the top navigation menu or you are using Howspace on mobile this Show more pages -menu (above) will show up and you can navigate to pages and folders by clicking it.


Notifications

Clicking the notifications opens a side bar with:

  • List of all pages that have something new

  • Shows how many notifications on each page


Translate workspace

Translations apply to all content created by both participants and admins. Each participant can select their preferred translation language. Read more here.


Workspace actions menu

  • Shortcuts to most used admin features

  • Access the Workspace Manager


Profile and account menu

  • Visible to all users

  • User-level actions like My profile, and access to My Workspaces.


Page level navigation

In the page-level navigation bar, you can see the current page's name and options to edit the page and open the page actions menu.

Edit page

Clicking "Edit page" takes you to page edit mode. In the edit mode, you can change the layout of your page by adding and editing widgets and containers.

Page actions menu

The page actions menu has page-level actions and settings. You can manage page settings and page visuals, duplicate page, set the page as landing page, access the page's trash can that holds deleted widgets for 30 days, and finally, you can delete the page.
