Managing Email Address Visibility in a Workspace

This article explains how workspace admins can manage the visibility of participants' email addresses, allowing participants to see each other's email information if needed.

Default Email Address Privacy

By default, email addresses are private and can only be viewed by:

  • The participant themselves.

  • Workspace admins (accessible through user profiles).

Participants cannot see each other’s email addresses unless admins enable this option.


Making Email Addresses Visible

Workspace admins have the option to display participants’ email addresses, making them visible to all participants. When enabled:

  • A participant's email address will be displayed in their profile.

  • A participant's email address can be made visible in the People widget.

  • Admins retain the ability to see all email addresses, regardless of settings.


Steps to Update Email Address Visibility

  1. Access Workspace Management

    • Navigate to the Workspace Settings.

  2. Navigate to Privacy section of the Workspace settings.

  3. Modify Email Visibility

    1. Modify the email visibility with the toggle. When the toggle is purple, the emails are visible to other participants.

  4. Save Changes

    • Click Save to apply the new visibility settings.
