[Hub] Enrollment codes

Overview - What are enrollment codes?

Enrollment codes let users join a Hub and a specific training (or multiple trainings) by entering a short code. A user account is created, and the code assigns the correct role automatically.

Only Hub admins can create enrollment codes.

Requirements

The feature must be enabled by Howspace for your Hub. Please ask your Hub contact for more information on activating enrollment codes.

Where to create and manage codes

Go to Hub administration view → Enrollment codes

From there, you can create new codes, set expiration dates, or delete existing ones. You can also define which trainings the code automatically enrolls the user in and what role the user gains.

Admins can also view which users have joined using each code.

What users see

When users visit the Hub front page, they can select “Activate enrollment code” either directly on the page or via the top right menu.

After entering the code, they’ll be added automatically to the Hub with the assigned role and enrolled into selected training (or trainings).
