Workspace Visuals

This article will discuss the different ways you can personalize your workspace.

Updated over a week ago

Howspace is highly customizable to suit your needs, and part of that is the ability for you to change the look and feel of the workspace. Navigate to Workspace manager from the admin menu in the top right corner of the workspace. In the Workspace manager, you'll find the "Visuals" tab.

In the visual editor you can edit:

  • Workspace background

  • Workspace logo

  • Top navigation colors

  • Brand colors

  • Widget styles

Colors

This setting affects the colors in the top navigation menu. You can choose the background color and the text color separately. When choosing the text color, you can see the contrast checker to make sure that the text is accessible and easily readable in the navigation menu.

Brand colors

In the Brand colors, you can choose 12 custom colors to match your brand. These colors are used for visuals (like polls) and are also available as color picker shortcuts.

Logo

This option allows you to upload an image as a logo for the workspace. The logo is visible in the top left corner of the workspace for all users. The best logo format is a PNG file with transparent background. Once the logo is uploaded, you can edit the size of the logo with the slider.

Workspace background

You can choose either to have a background color or a background image. Background color can be chosen using the color palette. When using a background image, you can further decide how the image is positioned in the workspace. For example, if your image has some content in the top right corner, you can choose top and right to make sure most users on most screen sizes will see the content.

Widget styles

Widget styles allows you to create presets for widget appearances. More information about widget styles can be found in this article.
