Main Users can create custom Excel exports that cover several workspaces at once, directly from Account Manager. It uses the same Export Builder as inside a workspace, so you don't need to open each workspace and run the same export again.
You can only export workspaces where you are a Workspace Admin.
Who can export
To use Account Manager exports, you need both:
The Main User role in the account, to open Account Manager.
The Workspace Admin role in each workspace you want to export.
Being a Main User doesn't give you access to a workspace's data on its own. Workspaces where you aren't a Workspace Admin are never included in your exports, and they don't appear in the workspace list.
The export window shows how many workspaces you can export, for example: You're an admin in 3 of 12 workspaces in this account. The total counts all active workspaces in the account. To export a workspace that's missing from your list, you need to add yourself as an admin to that workspace.
Create an export
In Account Manager, open Exports.
Click Create a custom export.
Under Export type, choose what to export: Users' responses, Page visits or User activity.
Under Scope, choose which workspaces to include:
All workspaces where I'm admin (default)
Selected workspaces where I'm admin: search for and tick the workspaces you want.
If you chose Users' responses, choose the Content: All supported widgets, or Selected widget types and tick the types you need.
Under Time, choose All time, Past month or Custom and set a date range.
Click Start export.
The export runs in the background and appears at the top of Recent exports list with the status In progress. You can leave the page while it runs.
Account Manager exports have no users filter. Each export includes all users in each workspace it covers.
What you get
Each workspace gets its own Excel file, named after the workspace. The files are structured like workspace-level exports. For Users' responses, each widget type gets its own tab.
One workspace: you download a single .xlsx file.
Two or more workspaces: you download one .zip file with an .xlsx for each workspace.
Download an export
When the status changes to Ready, open the … menu on the export's row and click Download.
Only the Main User who created the export can download it.
You can download it as many times as you need for 7 days. The row shows the exact time under the status: Available until {date} {time}.
After 7 days, the files are deleted to keep your data safe and the status changes to Expired. To get the data again, create a new export.
Recent exports
Recent exports lists every export created from Account Manager in your account, newest first. All Main Users in the account can see the list, so you always have a record of who exported what and when. Rows stay in the list even after their files expire.
Each row shows who exported it, the date and time, the export type, the workspaces included, the time range and the status.
Status | What it means | Download |
In progress | The export is still being created. | Not yet available |
Ready | The files are ready. | Available to the creator for 7 days |
Expired | The 7 days have passed and the files were deleted. | Not available |
Failed | The export couldn't be created. | Not available. Try creating the export again. |
