LTI - Learning Tools interoperability

Updated over 3 weeks ago

1 General / Basics

  • Allows customers to connect their existing LMS (learning management system) to Howspace

  • Support for LTI 1.3

  • The users in the LMS are then able to register and access Howspace workspaces

  • For example, an easy way to support social learning with Howspace is by connecting your Moodle with your Howspace

  • You can enhance participation and engagement in real-time in parallel with LMS

  • Participants do not need to log in separately, and course administrator only needs to manage users in one place

1.1 Configuration of Howspace to your Moodle

To set up the connection between your Howspace and Moodle, you need to complete the following two steps:

  1. Learning Tool Interoperability feature activated to your Howspace account

  2. Setup Howspace tool in your Moodle

After this configuration is complete, your course administrators can add the Howspace tool to the course so that participants can access the Howspace workspace without a separate login.
